ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to movement within our workforce, we currently have a Permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Plant Operator to join the growing Mort & Co Fertilisers team. Under general direction, this role operates a range of pad operations plant to ensure activities are completed accurately and on time 

This includes:

• Operating a range of plant and machinery, including loaders and forklifts (e.g., loader, forklift, screener, water truck and turner)
• Operating the manufacturing plant, including start-up and shutdown
• Ensuring daily pre-start and daily production records are up to date and accurate
• Plant maintenance and hygiene upkeep
• Supporting with scheduling, quality control and troubleshooting

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this position, you will bring:

• Current HWRL Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (highly regarded)
• Demonstrated experience operating plant and machinery, such as a loader (highly regarded)
• A responsible, reliable team player with a strong commitment to working safely
• Willingness to learn, a passion for problem solving and strong communication skills
